Originally a certified systems analyst from London, Sam is currently living and working in the bustling city of Cairo in Egypt.
Sam is an English and Social Studies teacher at the ISC in Cairo where he also teaches film making and editing voluntarily, as part of the Student Life Organisation. Sam thoroughly enjoys teaching and finds that it fits in perfectly with his natural abilities and skills as a writer and communicator.
Sam writes freelance on a host of lifestyle, political and techie topics, usually by request for a host of online and print magazines and review portals both here in Egypt and abroad. His style ranges from broadsheet to blogger and he usually adds a light touch of cynical humour if the piece requires his opinion. A seasoned designer and proficient in both inDesign and photoshop.
When not writing or being a techie geek Sam produces instrumental backing music for individual artists, TV and radio under publishers RGS Entertainment in the UK.
Sam is a member of the CIoJ (Chartered Institute of Journalists) and a diploma student of the NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists).
